NADIA CALMET, Director of the Afro-Peruvian Experience, an interdisciplinary artistic company in which she develops her vision of sharing and promoting the cultural diversity of Peru and giving visibility to the valuable contributions of people of African descent to the cultures of the world.
Since Nadia moved to the city of Los Angeles in 2017, she celebrates Afro-Peruvian Culture Day every year, with free events for the community, offering conferences, dance classes, music and concerts, book readings, drum circles, etc.
